This e-learning will provide attendees with:


An overview of the MARAM Framework.


An understanding of the 10 MARAM responsibilities in relation to victim survivors.


An understanding of how to align practice with the 10 MARAM responsibilities.


And an understanding of the MARAM risk assessment, risk Management tools & resources.

MARAM Framework


The MARAM framework provides guidance and directs system-wide responses to family violence risk assessment and management.

MARAM:

Includes updated evidence-based family violence risk factors.

Supports practitioners to undertake family violence screening, identification, risk assessment and management, information sharing and referral.

Recognises specific risks to children.

Includes direction for family violence responses to a range of communities, including Aboriginal people, LGBTIQ, rural, culturally and linguistically diverse people, older people and, people with disabilities.

About the MARAM Practitioner training facilitators


The MARAMIS project has been funded by Family Safety Victoria to support the implementation of the Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management Framework (MARAM) and the Family Violence and Child Information Sharing Schemes across Sexual Assault Support and Harmful Sexual Behaviour Services in Victoria.

The facilitators you see presenting this e-learning are Sexual Assault Services Victoria, MARAMIS Project Officers.

Eleni Kyrpigikidis and Alice Henderson were employed to deliver this project from 2019-2021 and developed the MARAM Practitioner Training from Family Safety Victoria MARAM resources. The case studies included in this training were developed as part of this project in consultation with SAS and HSB senior practitioners.

Prior to the development of this e-learning, Eleni and Alice facilitated a total of 13 MARAM Practitioner Trainings via zoom and face to face. Over 140 practitioners, practice leads and managers across the state have completed the SAS Victoria MARAM Practitioner training.
